When people come to live at The Waters, they experience warmth, hospitality, and an innovative suite of personal wellbeing services and amenities that empowers them to make every day a best day. Our innovative approach to wellbeing was developed in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality and Healing. It allows residents to leverage their strengths, discover new possibilities and make meaningful contributions within a thriving community. Each person is encouraged to live life to the fullest, as he or she defines it.

The Waters actively address six dimensions that contribute to wellbeing: health and a feeling of security, community and engagement with others, a sense of purpose and connectedness with your environment. We believe that a balance of these dimensions contribute to happy and healthy people.

The Waters on Mayowood has intentionally created an environment where you have choice to do what you want, when you want; life at The Waters is all about you! Whether you envision community as supporting and interacting positively with other individuals who share a vested interest, as a calling that extends to the global society, or something defined differently, there are many ways to get connected and build a sense of purpose within your community and yourself.

Our Lifestyle Living guide is designed to connect you with programs and talent we have established relationships and partnerships; these individuals, groups, and organizations are available resources for you to access as you choose. Options to enhance your overall life experience can be set up by you or through our concierge.
