Struthers Parkinson’s Center – Park Nicollet: For information about and care for Parkinson’s Disease, the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s. Nurses at our Plymouth Community have been specially trained by Struthers to assist residents with Parkinson’s disease.
The University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality & Healing: The Waters innovative health & wellbeing model was developed in partnership with esteemed organization.

The Minnesota Board on Aging: A free statewide information and assistance service.
The National Council on Aging: Provides online resources for seniors, family members and caregivers.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers: An education program designed to help family and friends caring for older adults with long-term health conditions (e.g., stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and others).
Web MD: Tips on Aging Well: Web MD provides a host of tips for living longer and better.

Senior Center of Edina: Provides wide variety of activities including field trips, a senior softball league and more.
Jewish Family Services of Minneapolis: Offers a wide range of services for seniors and caregivers.
Lutheran Social Services: Provides specialized services for older adults and caretakers.
Plymouth Senior Program: The Plymouth Creek Center serves as the main hub for Plymouth’s extensive Senior Programs.

Amherst H. Wilder Foundation: Provides a variety of programs that help thousands of seniors remain independent and enjoy active, productive lives.
Catholic Senior Connection: A regional resource for parishes and older adults — especially parish nurses, pastoral ministers and volunteers – to help connect seniors and their families to needed services.
